"Look look, we're doing this all wrong, all right?"

Dr Peter Clark snarls.

"The main objective, now, is not to just make clones. Semi-clones. Or even Not-Clones using his's genes. The point, is to - "

He points a dramatic finger at the photo on the wall.

"Keep him under control. And this is how we are going to do it..."

Nine years, later, the man known as Big Boss was looking at three children on a lawn. One was in a wheelchair. Two were not, and were hopping around the basketball court, squealing.

He tried to scowl, and failed. ...Those brats were adorable. Even the poor sad child in the wheelchair.

"They're not really clones, you know." The head scientist of the Project said, oily.

"Since we've only used about, ahh, 30 to 45% of your DNA in any of them. So."

He opened his hands, but he could see the answer on Big Boss's face already.

Two blonds, and one that looked a bit more like Big Boss himself - Perfect, if he said so himself. And Raphael wasn't supposed to turn out that way, but the wheelchair was a nice touch.

All designed to mash Big Boss's protective paternal instincts like a mashing thing.

Dr Peter Clark grinned, widely. His ex-wife's Twins didn't stand a chance.
